I’ve seen smoothie bowls everywhere, but could never quite figure out how to make them. Luckily I had asked my friend, Nat and it wasn’t as hard as it looked.
You an use whatever fruit/vegetables that you like but above are my favourites. I use frozen pineapple, frozen raspberries, a few strawberries, a banana, a scoop of frozen yogurt and then splash of juice.
The blender I use is the Breville blender, which is the best blender I’ve had. I’d definitely recommend one of these, I got mine for £20 out of Asda but you can also find them on Amazon.
After putting all of your ingredients into the blender, it’ll take a few minutes to blend due to the frozen food so you might have to stop and shake it around or add some more liquid.
And then you have your smoothie bowl! I topped mine with chia seeds, which I purchased from Holland and Barrett. I’m still working on the presentation of photos, this doesn’t look appealing but it tasted just as good as ice cream.
